The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the HR department by addressing employee concerns, organizing internal events, and managing pre-payroll processes to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations.
- Provide guidance and resolve inquiries regarding Human Resources policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, mediate conflicts or complaints, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment among teams.
- Support the communication and dissemination of the Internal Work Regulations and Company Policies.
- Process weekly pre-payroll, capturing and validating relevant incidents: paid or unpaid leave, vacations, suspensions, shift changes, validating hours worked, calculating overtime, and following up on necessary adjustments to ensure accurate payments.
- Enter new Infonavit credits into the TRESS system and ensure their correct registration.
- Ensure compliance with the Internal Work Regulations and internal policies related to overtime and vacations.
- Manage employee access, accounts, and necessary tools (lockers, gowning kits, parking, etc.), including new hires, terminations, and modifications.
- Create, maintain, and update physical and digital employee files.
- Prepare management reports and HR metrics as requested by leadership.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, including induction, Internal Work Regulations, Company Policies, NOM-035, Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Ensure the signing of training records and signature logs on the employee’s first day.
- Deliver contract renewals for signature and ensure compliance with related administrative processes.
- Support recruitment activities, such as posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Manage exit interviews and ensure proper completion of the offboarding process, including scheduling final settlements and delivery of the savings fund.
- Facilitate performance evaluation processes and assist in defining improvement plans.
- Implement, communicate, and maintain updated policies, regulations, and internal procedures.
- Plan and execute motivational, corporate, and recognition events (holiday parties, team gatherings, celebrations of special dates), coordinating with vendors and involved departments to ensure proper logistics.
- Send monthly birthday greetings and deliver cakes to employees celebrating birthdays at the end of each month.
- Coordinate wellness and health campaigns (vaccinations, medical check-ups, vision screenings, informational sessions).
- Participate in the planning and execution of organizational culture and employee engagement programs.
- Perform other tasks and special projects assigned by the Human Resources Management.
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communication, Psychology, or related field.
Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience in an HR or similar position.
- Experience with HR systems and tools (e.g., TRESS System).
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Technical Skills
- Solid knowledge of labor regulations and employee relations.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration.
