We’re looking for an experienced AI / Software Developer for project-based work, with the potential to grow into a larger ongoing development role.
This is not a prompt engineer or “vibe coder” position. We need someone with a strong software engineering foundation who also understands how to apply modern AI tools in real production environments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience preferred
- Strong background in application architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, authentication, and production systems
- Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, agents, RAG, tool calling, structured outputs, embeddings, and automation workflows
- Current knowledge of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, open-source models, and the broader LLM ecosystem
- Strong understanding of LLM limitations, hallucinations, context windows, latency, cost, security, privacy, model selection, and reliability
- Ability to evaluate when AI should be used and when traditional software is the better solution
- Comfortable reviewing AI-generated code rather than blindly relying on it
- Able to design, debug, test, deploy, and maintain production-quality software
- Strong Git, cloud, and modern development workflow experience
- Strong English communication skills
Most importantly, we want someone who is ahead of us technically. You should be actively following changes in AI and software development and be able to recommend better approaches, tools, models, and architecture when appropriate.
We’ll begin with several smaller projects to evaluate fit, speed, communication, and technical ability. For the right person, this can develop into a significant long-term development role.
