The right person will help connect Sepro Mexico, Sepro America, Sepro China, customers, suppliers, service, sales, engineering, purchasing, and management. This role will help Sepro Mexico continue using Sepro China as a supplier when appropriate, while gradually building stronger local project execution capability in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage automation projects from purchase order through installation and project closure.
- Maintain project schedules and communicate schedule status clearly to customers, internal departments, and suppliers.
- Monitor project scope and identify changes that may affect cost, schedule, margin, or technical execution.
- Coordinate project activities between Sepro Mexico, Sepro America, Sepro China, customers, vendors, service, sales, purchasing, and engineering.
- Serve as the primary project contact for customers.
- Coordinate design reviews, customer approvals, installation planning, project milestones, and acceptance activities.
- Track open issues and drive them to resolution.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, project status reports, and action-item lists.
- Support project testing plans and installation readiness reviews.
- Monitor project performance against quoted scope, budget, and schedule.
- Escalate project risks early when customer expectations, technical details, budget, or schedule are at risk.
- Support communication and coordination with local Mexico suppliers as the department grows.
Department Development
This position will also help establish the project management structure for the Sepro Mexico Automation Department.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping create repeatable project templates, checklists, meeting formats, installation plans, and customer communication standards.
- Applying existing Sepro America / Sepro North America procedures where possible.
- Helping define communication flow between Mexico, the United States, China, customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Supporting the transition from fully outsourced automation execution toward a balanced model using Sepro China, Sepro Mexico, Sepro America, and local vendors where appropriate.
- Identifying gaps in tools, processes, documentation, training, communication, and supplier support.
- Building trust with customers and internal teams through professional, timely, and accurate project communication.

- Experience working with vendors, customers, service teams, engineering teams, purchasing teams, and management.
- Ability to identify project risks related to scope, cost, schedule, technical requirements, and customer expectations.
- Customer-focused approach, both internally and externally.
- Comfortable working across departments, cultures, suppliers, and time zones.
- Flexible in duties during the early development of the department.
- Willingness to challenge unclear information, missing inputs, and weak project assumptions.
Preferred Experience
