How you will create an impact
The Systems Business Analyst supports day-to-day operational systems by translating business needs into functional system solutions and ensuring applications run reliably and efficiently.
This role works closely with Operations and IT teams to gather requirements, document processes, coordinate system enhancements, execute testing, and resolve incidents. The position plays a key role in maintaining system stability while driving continuous improvements and automation initiatives that enhance productivity, service levels, and overall operational performance.

Strong understanding of how business operations, finance processes, and enterprise applications support day-to-day outcomes in a global insurance environment.

Proven ability to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements with business stakeholders, IT teams, and subject matter experts.

Experience translating business needs into clear system requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation for delivery teams.

Ability to facilitate workshops, drive alignment across diverse stakeholders, and help prioritize requirements based on business value, risk, compliance, and delivery feasibility.

Familiarity with SDLC and Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint support, release planning, SIT/UAT coordination, defect triage, and implementation readiness.

Working knowledge of system integrations, data flows, reporting needs, controls, and downstream impacts across applications and business processes.

Ability to analyze operational data, identify root causes, define improvement opportunities, and support automation or process optimization initiatives.

Experience partnering with developers, architects, operations teams, risk/compliance partners, and third-party vendors to deliver reliable and scalable technology solutions.

Understanding of production support, incident management, change management, and post-implementation validation to maintain application stability and service quality.

Excellent documentation, organization, communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced IT environment.
What you’ll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science/engineering, or quantitative discipline preferred

A minimum of 4 years of experience as a business analyst with leading financial services or technology companies preferred

Strong analytical skills and a strong desire to learn about business and technology, business analysis and systems training

An understanding/knowledge of SDLC and knowledge of agile development methodologies

Strong critical thinker with familiarity with “top-down, hypothesis-driven,” problem analysis

Proven ability to understand technical issues

Great team player with great interpersonal skills who can work in diverse environments with a broad set of stakeholders

Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations

Must be adept of handling multiple projects, with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities

Proven ability to be flexible and committed to work hard, both independently and in a team environment in a high pressure environment
Skill requirements:

Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) is required

Tools: JIRA (Project Management), ServiceNow, Power BI highly preferred

Advanced written/oral communication and presentation skills

Advanced English language level, or at least intermediate proficiency (participates in meetings with other countries), including speaking, reading, and writing fluency.
