Responsabilidades:
Introduction
This position is responsible for efficiently managing the consolidation and reporting process, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end closing procedures for the Mexico and United States entities.
Key Responsibilities

Support global consolidation, reporting, and financial analysis activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required. Analyze expenses, freight costs, profit margins, and production plans to calculate sales margins.

Review and approve payments for the U.S. entity, including vendor payments, government obligations, and other disbursements on a daily basis. Maintain knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.

Support the month-end closing process, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly reporting packages. Prepare corporate closing reports (MBR), sales analyses (Pricing), and monthly financial reports.

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements, KPIs, and management dashboards.

Assist the Finance team, including the Global Corporate Controller, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and other departments within the CFO organization, as needed.

Support business analysis initiatives to improve financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and process efficiency.

Assist Internal Audit and other CFO departments in developing and maintaining a strong internal control environment.

Support compliance with the Control Framework; serve as a liaison for financial and operational audits, including Control Framework compliance, testing, and workflow analysis.

Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, including the development of templates, structures, and reporting presentations.

Support functional and line managers with internal process controls and forecasting activities.

Assist in preparing presentations for operational reviews and forecasting meetings, as required.

Audit Functions:

Support the coordination and preparation of operations for federal, state, internal, and external audits.

Help maintain successful internal and external audit outcomes.

Assist in implementing and communicating new compliance programs and perform applicable audit procedures.

Review and monitor fixed asset inventories, equipment identification, and related audit activities as required.
Cualificaciones:
Core Requirements

Experience with General Ledger (GL) functions and month-end/year-end closing processes.

Hands-on experience with SAP and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) accounting systems.

Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial data analysis.

Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent numerical aptitude and quantitative analysis skills.

Experience in fixed asset control, management, and reconciliation.
Desireable Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Accountant.

Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

Strong knowledge of Mexican tax accounting and fiscal regulations.

Knowledge of U.S. accounting standards and practices.

Experience in fixed asset and raw material inventory control and management.

Advanced English proficiency (90% or higher).
