The Inside Sales Representative works as part of a team with Regional and Technical Sales Managers to drive an overall company sales strategy. The focus of this role is to retain existing client relationships and grow sales with the assigned customer base. The ISR (Inside Sales Representative) uses telephone and/or electronic means for following up on sales leads. The ISR optimizes revenue opportunities by developing an understanding of the customer's needs and applying knowledge of Rochester's organizational, technical, and product knowledge to offer customer solutions for products or services.
Responsibilities

Partners with Regional Sales Manager for leads to increase sales of Rochester Electronics products and services to customers within the assigned customer base.

Serves as the primary customer contact for existing accounts to maintain customer satisfaction and seek opportunities for sales growth.

Manages the customer relationship regarding quoting, order processing, backlog management and customer satisfaction.

Identifies new business opportunities with existing customers by learning about their business needs to offer Rochester solutions that are in alignment to expand revenue opportunities.

Develops and executes a sales strategy with a defined customer, customer base, or territory.

Fosters relationships with customers and able to map key stakeholders within the accounts.

Utilizes and maintains customer data in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to forecast new business opportunities and revenue.

Develops business relationships with customer Procurement and Supply Chain functions to better understand their business requirements.

Ensures customer satisfaction and resolves customer complaints in a swift and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business preferred or related field preferred; additional years' experience beyond the minimum will be considered to meet the educational requirement. Two years of experience is equivalent to one year of additional education.

Six {6) or more years' experience in a customer-facing sales, marketing and/or related field; with additional company specific training required after hire.

Prior experience working in a high-tech or semiconductor product solutions background preferred.

Strong business development skills using telephone and email outreach to seek and develop new business opportunities and maintain customer relations.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence others.

Demonstrated background in developing customer relationships with key decision makers.

Flexibility and ability to undertake several tasks simultaneously and manage them to completion.
