SUPPLY TRADER

We are currently looking for a highly driven, commercially minded, and results-oriented Supply Trader to lead supplier sourcing, procurement, and relationship management initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced sales and trading environment and enjoys building strategic supplier networks from the ground up.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Sourcing & Procurement (Primary Focus: 70–80%

Proactively identify, approach, and onboard reliable suppliers, including recyclers, processors,and manufacturers.

Build and scale long-term, high-volume repeat supply pipelines rather than transactional, one-off deals.

Execute structured, high-frequency daily outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to uncover new supply opportunities.

Own the negotiation process for competitive pricing, volumes, and commercial terms.

Nurture and manage ongoing supplier relationships to ensure long-term partnership viability.

Deal Coordination (15–20%

Collaborate closely with the India-based sales team to seamlessly execute active deals.

Communicate material specifications, pricing inputs, and supply availability clearly and efficiently.

Act as the critical bridge ensuring alignment between external suppliers and internal
stakeholders. -
Inbound Lead Handling (Limited: 10%)

Field and qualify inbound inquiries from the US and global markets, routing strategic opportunities internally.

CRM & Performance Tracking

Maintain meticulous records of all outreach and commercial activities within Zoho CRM. Track key performance indicators, including supplier onboarding metrics, deal flow, and secured volumes.

Provide structured, data-driven weekly updates to leadership.
Requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Experience: Proven track record in B2B procurement, sourcing, trading, or commercial sales roles with direct deal ownership.

Core Competencies: Strong communication, presentation, and sharp negotiation capabilities.

Mindset & Drive: A proactive "hunter" mindset with a high comfort level executing high- frequency outreach and building relationships from scratch.

Operational Discipline: Highly organized with strong CRM discipline (Zoho experience is a plus).

Industry Knowledge: Prior exposure to plastics, recycling, or commodity trading is highly advantageous.
Target Profile Note: This is a high-execution, commercial position. We are specifically seeking results-driven professionals who own the deal cycle. This role is not a fit for purely administrative profiles or back-office coordinators lacking direct commercial and negotiation experience.
