We are looking for a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced woodworking machinery across Mexico. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach.The Field Service Engineer will work closely with customers to ensure machinery operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing performance. Frequent travel within Mexico is required, with occasional travel abroad for training or special projects.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and start up woodworking machinery and production lines at customer sites.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure machine reliability and optimal performance.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and CNC-related issues.Conduct machine inspections, testing, calibration, and performance verification activities.Support customers during machine start-up, production ramp-up, and process optimization phases.Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting both on-site and remotely.Complete service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Coordinate with Technical Support, Spare Parts, and Service Planning teams to ensure effective service delivery.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all service activities.Deliver customer training on machine operation, basic maintenance, and best practices.Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.Travel extensively throughout Mexico and occasionally internationally when required.
