As a Senior Quality Assurance Director, you will lead and elevate quality performance across multiple DSS manufacturing sites, ensuring the delivery of world-class products and customer experience. You will play a critical role in driving a zero-defect culture, strengthening quality systems, and enabling operational excellence across Molex Guadalajara and North America sites.
This role requires a highly influential leader who can connect strategy with execution, working closely with plant leadership, customers, and global stakeholders to create sustainable, value-driven quality outcomes in a complex manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Drive a zero-defect mindset, focusing on preventive actions, root cause elimination, and failure avoidance.
- Partner with plant leadership teams to align quality strategies with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Represent the organization in customer quality matters, leading resolution of issues and strengthening customer relationships.
- Sponsor and lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards such as ISO 9000 and corporate guidelines.
- Lead and conduct internal quality system audits, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all sites.
- Coach and develop teams in advanced quality tools and methodologies, including SPC, FMEA, APQP, QFD, and problem-solving frameworks.
- Support new project implementation by ensuring robust quality planning and readiness.
- Collaborate with global Molex sites to ensure consistent quality standards for transferred and imported products.
- Advise senior leadership on quality strategy, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive performance through key quality metrics, including audit results, defect rates, customer complaints, and reaction time.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in quality leadership within manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience leading multi-site quality organizations or regional quality functions.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and methodologies (ISO, SPC, FMEA, APQP, etc.).
- Experience driving continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and geographies.
- Experience working directly with customers and managing complex quality issues.
- Advanced English level (C1 or equivalent) for global communication.

- Strong background in leading cultural transformation toward zero-defect and continuous improvement.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or quality auditing (ISO/IATF).
- Experience managing large teams and developing leadership pipelines (100+ employees).
- Exposure to multinational operations and cross-regional collaboration.
- Ability to translate data and metrics into strategic decisions and business impact.
