As Regional Quality Director, you will lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple DSS manufacturing and design sites in North America. This role is responsible for ensuring disciplined, value-creating quality execution aligned with customer, regulatory, and business requirements. You will partner with plant leaders, engineering, and global quality teams to strengthen quality capability, enable operational excellence, and embed PBM principles into how quality systems create value.
What You Will Do

Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the DSS Regional Quality Management System across manufacturing and design sites.

Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and customer requirements (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485, and customer-specific requirements).

Drive internal and external audit readiness, including audit planning, execution, corrective actions, and effectiveness validation.

Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate quality systems into daily operations, NPI, and manufacturing execution.

Lead Management Reviews, ensuring quality KPIs, risks, and improvement opportunities are visible and actionable.

Coach and develop site quality leaders and QMS representatives to strengthen capability and ownership.

Ensure effective document control, standardization, and governance using a single source of truth.

Incorporate Voice of the Customer, regulatory changes, and business needs into QMS updates and controls.

Support customer, third-party, and regulatory audits, holding teams accountable for disciplined execution.

Drive continuous improvement using PBM challenge processes, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision making.

Promote digital transformation initiatives within quality systems to reduce waste, manual effort, and complexity.

Serve as a regional quality leader interfacing with customers, suppliers, auditors, and global stakeholders.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

10+ years of experience in quality management within manufacturing and/or design environments.

Proven experience leading Quality Management Systems in multi-site or regional organizations.

Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485, and customer-specific requirements.

Demonstrated experience leading internal and external audits.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands-on execution roles.

Advanced English level (C1 or equivalent) required for global communication.

Willingness to travel regionally as required.
What Will Put You Ahead

Lead or Internal Auditor certifications (ISO / IATF / AS / Medical).

Experience with digital quality systems, PLM, MES, or data-driven quality tools.

Strong understanding of manufacturing, NPI, and operational quality integration.

Experience applying PBM principles to quality systems and decision making.

Spanish proficiency in addition to English.

Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cultural change across sites.
