About the role
As the SAP Manufacturing (PTD) Lead, you will own the global design, governance, deployment, optimization, and support of Carrier's Manufacturing and production planning processes across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and integrated platforms. You'll act as the functional owner of Manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment between business requirements, digital strategy, and enterprise architecture — driving the digital transformation that keeps our global operations connected and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
As an SAP Expert Manufacturing, you'll be responsible for:

Leading the global SAP PTD roadmap and template governance

Defining and maintaining standardized procurement processes across Carrier operations

Owning the end-to-end manufacturing and planning solution landscape, including demand planning integration, MRP, production planning, shop floor execution, scheduling, BOM management, and manufacturing process optimization

Driving SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and digital transformation programs

Ensuring integration with Finance, Procurement, Logistics, MES systems, and third-party applications

Overseeing solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support

Leading business process harmonization and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Managing external partners, system integrators, and vendor resources

Supporting internal audits, compliance, SOX controls, and procurement governance

Developing and mentoring SAP Manufacturing analysts and consultants
Requirements
We are looking for people who are strategic, technically strong, and skilled at driving cross-functional alignment. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:

8–10+ years of SAP experience
-
3+ full lifecycle SAP implementations
-
Strong business process knowledge
-
Practical knowledge leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one work area

A university degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience — OR an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience

Advanced English proficiency
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

SAP certification
-
Experience across both S/4HANA and ECC environments

Experience with MES systems integration
