About the Role
As a SOC Analyst at Concord Servicing, you will be responsible for protecting our information systems and data against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Moreover, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our security posture, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and inspect alerts to determine those requiring additional analysis or escalation

Triage issues, identify solutions, and escalate appropriately in a fast-paced environment

Review reported and quarantined emails, performing message searches, releases, and remediation; analyze for threats such as phishing and malware and escalate as necessary

Gather, report, and present metrics on security systems and incidents

Participate in security incident investigations, with opportunity to lead lower-severity cases as capability develops, and prepare reports on intrusions as needed

Act as point of contact for information security service providers

Communicate clearly with stakeholders, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Manage the full lifecycle of security tickets, including creation, categorization, prioritization, and resolution in alignment with defined SLAs

Develop and maintain SOC documentation including runbooks, standard operating procedures, and daily operational workflows

Monitor, evaluate, and assist with the maintenance of assigned security systems in accordance with industry best practices

Assist in the research and implementation of security automation initiatives to improve SOC efficiency

Occasional off-hours availability for high/critical escalations
Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-
3-5 years in a SOC, security operations, or equivalent hands-on security role

Working knowledge of core security operations tooling such as SIEM/SOAR, EDR, and email security platforms; demonstrated capability matters more than experience with any specific product

Understanding of common attack techniques and the alert-to-investigation lifecycle

Experience with ticketing systems, documentation, and communication-heavy roles

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Self-driven and able to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a team

Familiarity with security automation tools or scripting is a plus
