Job Description
The Industrial Service General Manager, Mexico leads the Business Unit with full P&L responsibility, including the service portfolio, offering development, and end-to-end delivery in close collaboration with key stakeholders. This is responsible for driving profitable growth by strengthening market position across key geographies, enhancing service excellence, and optimizing operational performance.
This position combines strategic leadership with strong operational accountability, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering cross-BU collaboration and managing a large customer network. A strong safety mindset is a fundamental responsibility of the role, ensuring that all operations are conducted in line with the highest safety standards and a proactive safety culture is embedded across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Industrial Service Business Unit with full accountability for strategic direction, operational performance, and financial results, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

Define and drive the business strategy to achieve sustainable growth, increase market share, and enhance profitability across the service portfolio.

Championing a strong safety culture across the Business Unit, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards, and promoting proactive risk management in all operations.

Oversee and develop a high-performing leadership team, providing direction, coaching, and governance to ensure consistent execution and capability building across service areas.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring effective performance management frameworks are in place to drive accountability and results.

Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, improving productivity, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers.

Collaborate closely with commercial teams, and senior leadership to strengthen customer relationships and improve overall business performance.

Lead workforce planning and talent management strategies, including recruitment, development, and succession planning for key roles.

Oversee financial planning and budget management, ensuring strong cost control, resource allocation, and overall financial health of the Business Unit.

Provide strategic oversight of major projects and initiatives, ensuring execution aligns with business priorities and delivers expected outcomes.

Foster cross-functional and cross-BU collaboration to ensure alignment, scalability, and consistency of service offerings across markets.

Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing service operations or in similar roles, with extensive leadership experience.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree in Operations, Management, or MBA is preferred.

Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Positive attitude, proactive approach to challenges, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards

Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
