As our Marketing & Commercial Strategy Manager, you’ll be executing and leading the marketing of the Davines brand in Mexico. You will handle requests and opportunities to market and build the brand image, and will be in charge of developing trade promotion plans and materials in partnership with the sales team, implementing and monitoring a comprehensive commercial strategy that attracts new customers and boosts awareness to increase sales in the most innovative and profitable way.
Your efforts will directly contribute to market growth while upholding the core values that define Davines.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work in conjunction with the headquarters Commercial Strategy & Planning department to ensure strategies and tactics are delivered effectively.
- Define and coordinate the product launch strategy, the Marketing Plan and the initiatives from the initial launch strategy and its respective forecast to the price strategy, the promotional execution in salons, in order to achieve brand visibility, high level of sales and a substantial ranking in salons within the market.
- Analyze sales, customer and stock reports, identifying objectives according to sales and market analysis, sharing substantial and relevant information to the sales department and Director.
- Actively support brand positioning through a deep understanding of target consumers, industry trends, and competitive brands.
- Get the most out of our marketing channels to impact the customer journey and influence purchasing decisions (consumer insights, consumer touchpoints, consumer journey).
- Explore market trends and competitor strategies to gain competitive advantage.
- Manage and organize events in close relationship with the educational team.
- Visit clients to understand their needs and business order, creating custom programs, materials, and tools, and supporting customers as needed with sales managers' approval.
- Carry out refill of Merchandising and products in conjunction with the Management.
- Canvas organization for Direct channel and Distributors, as well as local events, launches and annual meeting of Distributors.
- Creation of Direct Sales Promotions and Distributors (entry into X3 + POspace)
- Maintenance of commercial tools (launches, products, merchandising, digital and printed material)
- Loyalty Program creation and monitoring
- Marketing/Launches/Campaigns/Presentations Translations
- Annual price increase list + entry into the system and price entry of new products in X3
- Quarterly Distributors Report Analysis + Pospace entry
WHO YOU ARE
- Have completed Higher Education Studies in marketing, sales or related.
- English language proficiency is essential.
- Have proven experience and strong working knowledge in event management, marketing or trade in the professional beauty industry.
- Have a business vision and understanding of trade marketing in the Mexican market.
- Be up to date and strategically apply the latest industry trends.
- Being able to manage a variety of simultaneous activities in a dynamic environment, working with deadlines and in multi-tasking / project management.
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills to build strong relationships with clients, trainers, colleagues and the Davines community in general.
- Domain of the Office package, mainly Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent proactive interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
