What is your rol?
Lead the Controls Engineering team to strengthen manufacturing performance through automation, process improvement, and engineering excellence. This role is responsible for advancing safety, quality, cost, and operational capability by implementing effective control strategies, supporting reliable systems, and developing engineering talent within the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Controls Engineering team by setting priorities, assigning objectives, and supporting employee growth and performance
Drive controls and automation projects that improve plant safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
Oversee plant control systems strategy, including standards for PLCs, HMI/SCADA, measurements, and critical process controls
Champion engineering best practices related to system safety, calibration, certification, and measurement system analysis
Experiences/Education - Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
At least 3 years of controls and/or measurements engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of direct people management experience
Strong knowledge of PLC systems and programming capabilities
Experience with automation technologies and process improvement initiatives
English proficiency
Experiences/Education - Desired
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Interpersonal skills – engaging, enabling, open
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in statistical analysis
