AirNetworks is a growing Communications Provider based in San Antonio, Texas, serving clients in healthcare, legal, and government verticals. We manage multi-client VoIP infrastructure on NetSapiens. We're expanding our team with a dedicated VoIP specialist who can also support general L1 operations.
What you'll do in this role
Primary focus (50-60%): VoIP
- Administer NetSapiens platform across multiple client tenants
- Configure PBXs, extensions, IVR, ring groups, voicemail, and call routing
- Coordinate SIP trunks with providers
- Manage DIDs and number portability
- Resolve VoIP tickets for multiple clients across healthcare, legal, and government sectors
- Test all changes before deployment
- Document configurations and changes thoroughly
- Proactively communicate with clients during incidents
Secondary focus (50-40%): L1 General Support
- General technical support for end users
- Basic Microsoft 365 tickets (user provisioning, MFA, Teams support)
- Dispatch coordination for on-site technicians
- Collaboration with M365 engineer and Network Architect
Must-have qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on VoIP experience
- 3CX or NetSapiens demonstrable experience required
- Solid knowledge of SIP protocol, SIP trunks, IVR configuration, and call routing
- Windows and Microsoft 365 basics for L1 support
- Functional business English
- Disciplined documentation habits
- Proactive communication style
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in MSP or multi-client support environment
- Experience with Ninja or similar PSA/ITSM platforms
- 3CX certifications (any level)
- NetSapiens training or certifications
- Exposure to regulated clients (HIPAA, PCI compliance)
- Experience with Bandwidth, UNO SIP, or similar carrier providers
- Basic networking knowledge (VLANs, QoS for VoIP)
What we're NOT looking for

- Your VoIP experience is limited to end-user softphone support without administration
- You've only worked with legacy PBX systems (analog, Cisco Call Manager) without IP-based platforms
- You're seeking a full-time role immediately (this starts as part-time with growth path)
- You require rigid 9-to-5 supervision without ability to self-manage
