We are hiring a Senior React Native Engineer to build a new greenfield mobile application from scratch for iOS and Android.
This is not a feature-only role. You will define architecture, establish patterns, and take ownership of core mobile decisions while collaborating directly with US-based stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Start and architect a new React Native application from foundation to production
- Design scalable mobile architecture and core application patterns
- Integrate with a production GraphQL API (.NET backend)
- Build data-intensive views with strong performance and usability
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers as the team grows
- Communicate directly with English-speaking stakeholders
Required Experience
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Strong production experience with React Native
- Experience shipping apps to both iOS and Android
- Solid JavaScript and TypeScript knowledge
- Experience consuming GraphQL APIs in production
- Understanding of CI/CD and automated testing
- Advanced English (client-facing role)
Nice to Have
- Experience starting greenfield projects
- Experience in fintech or financial services
- Exposure to .NET or Azure environments
Work Model
Hybrid role based in Mexico City. 1 day per week onsite required.
