About the Opportunity
Our recruiting firm is currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer C on behalf of a well-established U.S.-based manufacturing company with more than 30 years of operations in Tijuana, Mexico.
The company is currently expanding its manufacturing footprint and is looking for an engineer who can support the development, standardization, and translation of manufacturing documentation for a growing electrical control panel assembly operation.
This position is based at the company's new facility located in the Blvd. 2000 area of Tijuana.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate manufacturing documentation from Spanish to English, including:
- Process Sheets
- Visual Work Instructions
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operation and Training Manuals
- Develop and maintain bilingual manufacturing documentation (English/Spanish).
- Create process flow diagrams and manufacturing workflows.
- Support the standardization of manufacturing processes and work instructions.
- Develop visual aids and training materials for production personnel.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Support employee training initiatives through clear and effective technical documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing operation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a metal-mechanical or manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing:
- Process Sheets
- Visual Work Instructions
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Manufacturing Documentation
- Experience translating technical manuals and manufacturing documentation from Spanish to English.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
- Understanding of industrial symbols, diagrams, and technical documentation standards.
- Knowledge of material handling and manufacturing workflows.
- Experience training production and technical personnel.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and operational teams.
