Activities / Duties:
- Monitor and manage assigned cases on a monthly basis, ensuring all post-filing activities are tracked and actioned in a timely manner.
- Notify clients of USCIS notices promptly and explain next steps clearly.
- Process daily mail and route USCIS correspondence to the appropriate case file and team member.
- Draft and prepare immigration forms as required for post-filing case activity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in the firm's legal database.
- Follow established communication procedures, guidelines, and firm policies at all times.
USCIS Interview Preparation
- Manage USCIS interview preparation for assigned clients, ensuring they are fully informed and prepared prior to their appointment.
- Coordinate interview documentation, review case files for completeness, and flag any outstanding items to the legal team.
- Serve as a supportive resource for clients navigating the interview process, removing fear and building confidence.
Client Communication & Service
- Handle a high volume of incoming client calls professionally and efficiently.
- Identify and evaluate client needs to deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive information using appropriate tools and resources.
- Build sustainable, trust-based relationships with clients through open, empathetic, and consistent communication.
- Manage client complaints and concerns, providing appropriate solutions and follow-up within established timeframes to ensure resolution.
- Keep thorough records of all client interactions, account updates, and case activity.
- Go the extra mile to ensure every client feels informed, supported, and valued throughout their case journey.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of immigration paralegal or legal support experience with direct exposure to packet preparation and filing review required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of USCIS and EOIR filing requirements, including form instructions, filing fees, evidence standards, and RFE implications.
- Familiarity with common immigration form types including but not limited to I-485, I-130, I-589, and EOIR filings; ability to identify incorrect form versions or missing components.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in document handling, review, and assembly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple filings simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across legal and administrative teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Filevine or similar legal case management systems preferred.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional discretion.
Offer:
- Work Model: International contractor.
- $25,000 to $30,000 depending on experience.
- M-F 9:00am - 6:00pm.
