Your Role
Lead and oversee Supplier Quality activities for the CMS business, ensuring robust quality planning and execution throughout supplier development, serial production, and incoming quality control.
This role is responsible for the start-up of a new site and for driving flawless launches, stable production, and continuous improvement through effective execution of APQP, PPAP, risk management, and supplier performance management, acting as the primary regional point of contact between the plant, suppliers, and the global CMS Supplier Quality organization.

Working under the PBM (Market-Based Management) philosophy and the code of conduct, this role collaborates closely with Procurement, AQP, Engineering, Manufacturing, Plant Quality, Logistics, and global CMS Quality teams across different regions.
The team promotes best practice sharing, standardization, and compliance with corporate quality systems and information security protocols, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
- 10 years of experience in supplier quality and development and/or automotive quality
- 3-5 years of experience leading teams such as SQE, ASQE, or IQC
- Strong, hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, supplier audits and development, DFMEA / PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, capability studies, and Run@Rate
- Solid knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and core quality tools
- Experience managing supplier quality in both development and serial production phases
- Proven ability to lead 8D problem solving, escalations, and effective closure of quality issues
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment
- Advanced English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
What will put you ahead
- Experience in multi-site or regional supplier quality organizations
- Knowledge of processes and commodities such as plastic injection molding, die casting, stamping, and electronics (PCB / PCBA)
- Proven track record of successfully leading global or regional supplier quality teams
- Strong mindset focused on risk-based management, continuous improvement, and supplier development
