YOUR ROLE
Support data-driven decision-making in global logistics and international trade by analyzing operational data, building reports, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, cost, and compliance.
In your daily job you will:
- Analyze logistics, transportation, and customs data to identify trends, delays, and cost drivers
- Monitor key KPIs such as lead time, OTIF, freight cost, and clearance times
- Perform root cause analysis on delays, service failures, and cost overruns
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for operational and management use
- Translate data into clear insights to support decision-making
- Extract, clean, validate, and manage data from ERP, TMS, and external sources
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate reporting tasks
- Support data-driven optimization of routes, inventory, and logistics costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, trade, procurement, finance)
- Provide analytical support for global trade, compliance, and audits
- Monitor import/export data, tariffs, and regulatory impacts
- Track shipments and highlight risks or delays using data insights
- Support carrier performance analysis and operational issue resolution
- Continuously improve technical and analytical skills (SQL, BI tools, etc.)
- Handle ad hoc data requests and support operational and strategic initiatives
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Completed bachelor's degree
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- +1 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, data analysis, or global trade environments
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Familiarity with ERP and/or TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL (Python is a plus)
- Understanding of logistics KPIs (lead time, OTIF, transportation costs, etc.)
- Knowledge of import/export processes, customs, and trade compliance concepts is a plus
- Experience in data cleaning, validation, and reporting standardization
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights for business stakeholders
