As our next Project Procurement Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of coordinating and leading end‑to‑end supply chain activities for strategic programs including new product launches, program transfers, sourcing initiatives, and cost reduction projects. Your expertise in supply chain, procurement, and cross-functional coordination will be critical to ensuring material readiness, supplier performance, and successful program execution.

- Own supply chain activities across the full program lifecycle (RFQ sourcing launch production)
- Lead sourcing strategy development and follow execution through successful program launch
- Align sourcing plans with program timelines, milestones, and business objectives
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues when necessary
- Manage BOM cost ownership for new launches and program transfers
- Support supplier benchmarking and sourcing strategy optimization across global operations
- Lead cross-functional program reviews with Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Logistics
- Act as the main supply chain point of contact within cross-functional teams
- Coordinate material readiness, tooling availability, purchase orders, and supplier confirmations
- Track open issues, supplier responses, and material readiness to support launch timing
- Ensure readiness for Start of Production (SOP) and remove bottlenecks proactively
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineering to support supplier approval processes
- Partner with Finance on payments, invoices, and pre-launch cost requirements
- Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and milestones (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain or procurement with project/program exposure
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience in manufacturing environments (required)
- Familiarity with APQP and product launch processes
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
- Knowledge of direct and indirect material sourcing
- Experience supporting cost reduction and supplier performance initiatives
- Exposure to global supply chain operations
