POSCO International E-Mobility México is looking for a Safety Specialist to support the implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental (EHS) programs within our automotive manufacturing operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
- Investigate incidents and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Manage EHS documentation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate contractor safety, work permits, and environmental activities.
- Deliver EHS training and promote a strong safety culture throughout the plant.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in EHS within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred.
Knowledge
- STPS, IMSS, SEMARNAT regulations.
- ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Hazardous waste management.
- Incident investigation and workplace safety.
Languages
- Intermediate to Advanced English.
