The Senior Commodity Buyer will be responsible for managing all aspects of associated indirect suppliers and delivering the best level of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Facilities include multi-site energy initiatives, building leases, building maintenance, multi-site mobile equipment leases, equipment installations, utility services and additional Indirect Materials and Services categories as assigned.
- Develop and execute commodity strategies for the assigned commodities. Continuously enhance purchasing expertise and knowledge of the local and global market trends.
- Pursue systematic TCO reductions and value enhancements for the assigned commodities. Track KPI’s and deliver reports as assigned.
- Execute comprehensive RFQ process and support functional users in a timely manner while minimizing the risk and maximizing the value for Inteva.
- Develop executive level sourcing recommendations for presentation to sourcing board panel with internal stakeholder alignment
- Identify and develop strategic supply sources for the assigned commodities. Manage relationships with all suppliers, resolve supplier issues and optimize suppliers’ performance.
- Support general business activities and requirements of the specific functional groups, carry out other duties as assigned.
- Negotiate (re-negotiate) agreements and purchase orders minimum 30 days prior to expiration
- Perform the necessary purchase order maintenance and follow up
- Identify and develop new suppliers when appropriate
- Communicate and cooperate with the Supply Chain Management Organization as a whole.
