Reporting to the Project Management and NPI Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for working in collaboration with the leadership team to manage new projects related to equipment and product implementation, ensuring adherence to stakeholders' requirements — leading initiatives from concept through production launch.
Responsibilities:
Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
Lead projects from concept through production launch.
Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Manage capital and expense for multiple projects.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Procurement.
Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables.
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues as necessary, according to the project work plan.
Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
Manage communication with OEMs, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
Oversee prototype builds, testing, validation, and production readiness.
Monitor costs and implement corrective actions when needed.
Develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Prepare status reports and present project updates to leadership.
What You Need to Join Our Team:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven project management experience.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including proficiency in Microsoft Project.
Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and Lean Manufacturing.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Results-oriented with a focus on cost reduction.
Leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills (Spanish and English).
