Senior Supplier Quality Engineer
Join us as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer and become the technical expert who ensures our supply chain delivers excellence. You will play a critical role driving supplier performance, leading fast containment and recovery actions, and securing the quality of materials that impact our operations and customers.
What will you do?

Lead supplier quality issue resolution, ensuring rapid reaction to non-conforming materials and production disruptions

Drive containment actions with suppliers, including sorting, material review in transit, and immediate risk mitigation to protect production

Own corrective action processes with suppliers, including 8D follow-up, root cause validation, and implementation of permanent solutions

Ensure strong execution of containment, correction and mitigation plans with clear timelines and accountability

Coordinate RMA processes and supplier return authorizations to avoid excess quarantine inventory and operational delays
-
Monitor and manage supplier-related quarantined material, ensuring no aging beyond acceptable limits and quick disposition

Perform PPAP approvals, including documentation review and dimensional validations to ensure supplier readiness

Track and document supplier quality issues, maintaining clear records and driving closure with urgency and ownership

Build strong relationships with plant teams, maintaining close communication with production and quality to ensure fast decision-making and alignment

Continuously assess supplier performance and drive improvements in material quality and process stability
What are the key skills we are looking for?

Supplier Quality Management — strong level; managing supplier performance in high-pressure manufacturing environments

Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis — strong level; driving 8D, containment and corrective actions to closure

Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) — advanced level; validating supplier capability and documentation

Urgency and Accountability — strong level; acting quickly, owning outcomes, and delivering results under pressure
-
Communication and Collaboration — strong level; working effectively with suppliers and plant teams
-
Statistical and Quality Tools — intermediate level; applying PFMEA, control plans, and basic statistical analysis
-
Auditing — intermediate level; evaluating supplier processes and quality systems
What qualifications will make you successful?
-
4+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, ideally with direct exposure to the manufacturing floor
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Advanced English level required

Proven experience managing supplier corrective actions, containment plans, and continuous improvement initiatives

Strong knowledge of PPAP, 8D, PFMEA, control plans, and quality audits across multiple manufacturing processes

Experience in supplier quality engineering roles

Green Belt certification or statistical training is desirable

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and drive issues to closure with speed and discipline

Strong ownership mindset with the ability to hold suppliers accountable while maintaining constructive relationships
