Mobile Testing Engineer
Rate: $30/hour
We are seeking a Mobile Testing Engineer with extensive experience in iOS and Android testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and the ability to set up mobile testing frameworks from scratch, transitioning into automation over time. This role requires a strategic thinker who can establish robust testing processes and ensure high-quality mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement manual testing strategies for mobile applications.
- Develop and execute test cases for iOS and Android platforms.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
- Transition from manual testing to automation, selecting appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Establish and maintain mobile testing environments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mobile testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in mobile testing (iOS & Android).
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Appium, XCTest, Espresso, etc.).
- Ability to set up testing frameworks from scratch.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
