Resumen
Perform and oversee all inspection activities, including complex component analysis, advanced GD&T interpretation and program creation/modification. Able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, production orders, and engineering documents with high autonomy. Additionally, be able to take on responsibilities tied to technical leadership for training Level 1 and Level 2 personnel.
Tareas y responsabilidades
Activities:
Create and modify CMM programs and First Article Inspection (FAI) procedures to meet evolving quality requirements. Ensure programs are efficient, accurate, and adhere to customer specifications and aerospace standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in CMM inspection, including advanced GD&T interpretation and complex component analysis. Review and approve inspection reports and provide feedback or adjustments as needed.
- Organize and maintain measured points from CMM inspections, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis to monitor quality trends and identify areas for improvement.

Perform monthly calibration of probe tips to maintain measurement precision and ensure reliable inspection results. Document calibration records and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
- Conduct Part Approval System (PAS) checks to validate part conformity to specifications and quality requirements, ensuring that all components are ready for production release.

Provide guidance and training to Level 1 and Level 2 inspectors in terms.
Estudios / Formación
Qualifications:
- Bachelor´ s degree in Mechanical, Engineering, or related.
- At least 5 years of experience in similar positions on automotive industry or aviation industry is a plus.
- English intermediate or advance.
- Experience on; CMM operations and programming.
- Inspection tool usage.
- Blueprint/ GD&T knowledge
- AS9100/AS 9102/ Quality system Awareness and FAI inspection standars.
