This role is ideal for someone who already has experience working with software teams and wants to accelerate their growth in Product Management.
At MedTrainer, Associate Product Managers are not note-takers or project coordinators. They actively participate in product discovery, product delivery, and customer problem-solving while receiving mentorship from experienced product leaders.
You'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to help shape healthcare software used by thousands of professionals.
- Partner with Product Managers to discover and validate customer needs.
- Participate in customer research, feedback analysis, and product discovery activities.
- Help define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and refine backlog items in Jira.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and UX teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate testing activities and support feature launches.
- Track product performance and help measure outcomes after release.
- Document business processes, product decisions, and workflows in Confluence.
- Take ownership of small-to-medium product initiatives from discovery through launch.
- Rapidly learn healthcare workflows and business processes to support product discovery and decision making.
- Document and understand business processes, and help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrate initiative in researching problems, understanding workflows, and proposing solutions.
- Participate in customer and stakeholder interviews and synthesize learnings.
- Own small-to-medium product initiatives under the guidance of Product Leadership.
- Contribute recommendations for prioritization based on customer and business needs.
- 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Associate Product Manager
- Product Owner
- Business Analyst
- Experience working on software products (SaaS preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience writing requirements, user stories, process flows, or documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new domains and business concepts quickly.
- Strong process analysis and critical thinking skills.
- Comfortable working independently while seeking guidance when appropriate.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Experience in B2B SaaS.
- Experience participating in customer interviews or discovery activities.
- Familiarity with healthcare technology or compliance products.
- Experience with Figma, Mixpanel, or product analytics tools.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn.
- Strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to organize ambiguity and create structure.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Interest in growing into a Product Manager role.
- Ability to learn complex domains quickly.

- Comfortable taking ownership and driving work forward with limited direction.
- Develop foundational knowledge of MedTrainer's products and healthcare workflows.
- Independently manage backlog items and product documentation.
- Successfully contribute to discovery, testing, and delivery activities.
- Demonstrate growth in product thinking, ownership, and stakeholder communication.
- Your experience is primarily in Project Management or as a Scrum Master.
- You prefer focusing only on delivery coordination.
- You are looking for a purely strategic product leadership role.
- You are not interested in working hands-on with requirements, testing, and product execution.
