We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Engineer with strong experience in Rockwell Automation systems (Allen-Bradley) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, programming, commissioning, and support of industrial control systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation of automated manufacturing equipment.
This role requires strong technical expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000)
- Develop and modify ladder logic, structured text, and control routines
- Support commissioning and startup activities in industrial environments
- Diagnose and resolve issues in control systems and automated equipment
- Interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical documentation
- Support automation and continuous improvement projects
- Integrate Rockwell PLCs with HMIs (FactoryTalk View) and other systems
- Perform system modifications, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams
- Ensure proper documentation of programs, changes, and technical updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering field
- Experience in Rockwell Automation PLC programming (Studio 5000 required)
- Strong understanding of industrial automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings
- Experience in commissioning/startup activities (preferred)
- Knowledge of industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet) is a plus
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency (preferred)
