The Role
We are seeking a IT HELP DESK to join our IT team and maintain the computer networks of all types of organizations, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. IT Support monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems .
Key Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
- Provides answers to employees by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding employees through corrective steps.
- Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
- Performs remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
- Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
- Implement and manage IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security. .
- Triage and solve the assigned requests according to the department’s standard operating procedure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other related to the field.
- Strong proficiency Operating systems
- Solid experience Computer hardware
- Ability to derive meaningful information from raw data.
- Ability to structure your efforts to ensure you complete tasks efficiently and by required deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
