As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. - Coordinate and monitor end-to-end sea logistics processes, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction across assigned offices and stakeholdersExecute operational tasks within BPA/BAM systems and maintain accurate productivity reports and incident logbooks.
- Manage billing processes, including invoice validation, issuance, follow-up on discrepancies (rejected, canceled, or pending invoices), and compliance with SOPs.
- Support import operations by handling pre-alerts, verifying documentation (MBL, HBL/BAL, commercial docs), and coordinating release instructions with carriers and stakeholders.
- Execute export processes such as booking with carriers, documentation validation, bill of lading creation (HBL/MBL), and shipment status updates in systems.
- Ensure accurate documentation flow, including corrections, transmission to customs, and upload into e-file systems.
- Track and resolve operational issues, including release delays, documentation discrepancies, and system-related incidents via ticketing tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams (CCL, billing, finance, operations) and external stakeholders (customers, carriers, co-loaders) to ensure seamless execution.
- Support new account implementations by reviewing SOPs and ensuring correct setup of operational and billing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in international freight coordination and/or customs processes.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, incoterms, and supply chain processes (advanced level preferred).
- Experience working with CRM systems and operational platforms.
- Intermediate knowledge of customs processes and country-specific guidelines.
- Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process compliance.
- Effective communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and resolve operational issues proactively.
