This role ensures that all products meet applicable international regulations related to safety, labeling, chemicals, environmental standards, and consumer protection, while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the entire supply chain and quality control strategy across all categories (socks, apparel, bags, and bottles).
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Compliance Strategy

Define and execute the global compliance strategy by product category.

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations across all markets (U.S., Mexico, Europe, Asia).

Maintain an up-to-date compliance matrix by product and region.

Act as the internal SME on regulatory requirements.
2. Regional Regulatory Compliance

Oversee compliance in the U.S. (FTC, CPSIA, FDA, Prop 65).
-
Ensure compliance with NOM standards in Mexico.

Ensure compliance with REACH, GPSR, and European regulations.

Coordinate compliance with Asian standards (GB, KC, JIS, among others).

Validate labeling, chemical safety, import documentation, and market requirements.
3. Laboratory Testing Management

Define and implement physical, chemical, and safety testing programs.

Manage third-party laboratories globally.

Establish testing frequency based on risk, product type, and supplier.

Review and approve laboratory reports.
-
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for failed tests.
4. Quality Control (QC)

Develop and maintain global quality standards and SOPs.

Define inspection protocols:

Pre-production (PP)

In-line inspections

Final random inspections (AQL-based)

Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes.

Ensure consistency and compliance across global production.
5. Supplier Management

Collaborate with factories and suppliers to ensure regulatory and quality compliance.

Evaluate supplier performance in compliance and QC.
-
Coordinate audits and improvement plans.
