1. PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Maintain compliance of Annex 24 inventory control for raw materials and fixed assets, ensure the timely submission of the monthly reconciliation and Annex 30 reports, and process the payment of the open balance within the established deadlines to ensure compliance with the obligations set forth under the IMMEX Program and the VAT Certification (CIVA), while also maintaining the KPI metrics.
Ensure that all equipment physically located at the plant is included in the fixed asset reconciliation and that the equipment's brand, model, and serial number match both the physical assets and the corresponding customs entry documentation (pedimentos).
The annex 24 analyst is the designed resource accountable for ensuring ongoing compliance with Annex 24 inventory control requirements at the site level. This role is responsible for maintaining date accuracy and coordinating cross-functional inputs. This role acts as the single point of contact for annex 24 compliance at the site.
2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Raw material reconciliation
1. Update and validate master data and system catalogs.
2. Ensure that all import and export transactions are accurately recorded and updated.
3. Perform weekly (SmartCim) and monthly (DS) system validation.
4. Imports versus receipts reconciliation
5. Export invoices versus shipping records reconciliation
6. Review FIFO (First In, First Out) parameters and configure alternate parameters, where applicable
7. Perform mass export updates (inventory discharge process).
8. Obtain inventory balance reports for FIFO analysis.
9. Perform a second mass export update, if required.
10. Generate and submit the Annex 30 report.
11. Obtain and prepare the Finance report.
12. Generate the Physical Inventory vs. TSMX System Balance Variance Report.
13. Perform the inventory reconciliation using the template established by the Corporate VAT team.
14. Upload invoices for change of customs regime (F4) and regularization (A3 – Rule 2.5.1 of the General Foreign Trade Rules - RGCE) related to open balances.
15. Monitor and ensure there are no overdue A3 balances under Rule 2.5.2 of the General Foreign Trade Rules (RGCE).
Fixed Asset reconciliation
1. Validation of financial information against Annex 24 system data
2. Update of the reconciliation file
3. Ensure consistency between import documentation, Annex 24 system records, and the physical equipment on the production floor
4. Correction of discrepancies between customs entry (pedimento) records and Annex 24 system information
5. Preparation and submission of customs entries for scrap and open balance regime changes (F5)
6. Preparation and submission of regularization customs entries for equipment lacking supporting customs documentation (A3)
General
1. Achieve metrics and goals related to Trade Compliance
2. Support internal & external customs audits, i.e., Corporative, SAT, etc
3. Comply with all Eaton Training program.
4. Active participation and supporting all Eaton Certifications as: OEA, C-TPAT, CIVA, etc.
