The Design Engineer I will support Value Engineering projects focused on cost reduction initiatives and product engineering activities. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to develop design, manufacturing, and process solutions while ensuring product quality and performance.

Support Value Engineering projects focused on cost reduction opportunities.

Develop mechanical design solutions and engineering improvements.

Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings.

Participate in Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

Collaborate with suppliers and sourcing teams for quotations and technical evaluations.

Support production line events and project validation builds.

Perform hands-on assembly and disassembly testing of power tools.

Conduct technical analysis including failure analysis and risk assessments.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drafting.

Understanding of GD&T principles.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work in a hands-on engineering environment.
