Position Summary
The Amazon Marketplace Account Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing ecommerce marketplace accounts to maximize product visibility, sales performance, and account health. This role combines marketplace strategy, performance analysis, account management, and client communication to support growth across Amazon and related ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in marketplace operations and digital commerce.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize marketplace accounts to improve visibility and sales performance.
- Oversee product listings and ensure accurate, compelling product content.
- Monitor inventory levels, pricing strategies, promotions, and account performance.
- Review marketplace dashboards and performance reports.
- Analyze key metrics including traffic, conversions, advertising performance, and return on investment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve marketplace performance.
- Manage advertising budgets, discounts, promotional campaigns, and special offers.
- Monitor account health metrics including fulfillment, delivery, reviews, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with internal teams on creative assets, campaigns, and technical requirements.
- Communicate recommendations, updates, and performance insights to clients.
- Identify risks and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Stay informed on marketplace policies, platform updates, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience managing Amazon Marketplace or similar ecommerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of product listings, catalog management, pricing, and promotions.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Experience interpreting sales, advertising, and marketplace performance metrics.
- Proficiency with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, or similar tools.
- Strong spreadsheet and dashboard management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating with creative, marketing, and technical teams.
- Knowledge of ecommerce best practices and marketplace compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
