We are seeking an Authorization Coordinator to support our clinical and administrative teams in the Workers’ Compensation field. This role is responsible for managing Requests for Authorization (RFAs) from start to finish, ensuring that all medical treatment requests are accurately prepared, submitted, tracked, and documented within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and submit Requests for Authorization (RFAs) for medical treatment and services.
- Monitor and track the status of all submitted RFAs to ensure timely responses.
- Follow up with adjusters, medical offices, and other stakeholders when additional information is required.
- Document all actions and updates clearly and accurately within the EMR system.
- Review and process determinations (approvals, partial approvals, denials) and ensure that providers and internal teams are informed.
- Maintain organized records and uphold compliance within Workers’ Compensation guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, clinical staff, and team members.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a medical, administrative, or Workers’ Compensation environment is helpful, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines at the same time.
- Clear, professional communication skills—written and verbal.
- Comfort working with computer systems, digital records, and new software (EMR experience is a plus).
- A proactive, follow-through mindset with the ability to track ongoing tasks.

- Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- In person, in-Office positon (Zona Rio Tijuana)
- Training will be provided
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19,500.00 per month
