The Plant Director (Plant Manager) for the Chihuahua manufacturing facility is responsible for all activities of each function.
The Plant Director leads and directs all production departments as well as support functions, which may or may not include Manufacturing Engineering, Production Planning & Scheduling, Purchasing, Materials Management, Facility IS, Building Services, Quality, Human Resources and Plant Finance
This Position is the top lead management position of the Chihuahua facility and is responsible for daily order fulfillment, EH&S, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities, all targeted at achieving customer satisfaction goals as measured by the Company operating system metrics.

The Plant Director must know and apply the company’s environmental policies and procedures in the performance of his or her duties.

EH&S – The Plant Director is responsible for all activities that affect Environmental Health & Safety related to the facility.

Responsible for setting the goals, putting in place the organization to achieve those goals, measuring the results and taking timely and effective corrective action, as necessary.

Responsible is responsible for putting in place the proper controls in purchasing, materials management and shipping that are necessary to protect the company’s interests

This Plant Director will monitor the introduction of new products, technology transfers and product rationalization to ensure that timelines and budgets are achieved

The Plant Director is responsible for the enhancement and improvement of the company operating system including (but is not limited to) Flow Manufacturing and Lean Manufacturing techniques as well as the appropriate application of 6-Sigma tools to reduce variation in processes.
