The Learning & Development Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs by managing training calendars, coordinating logistics, overseeing training‑related inquiries, and supporting data collection and reporting activities. This role enables consistent program delivery and effective communication across training stakeholders, facilitators, managers, and participants.
This position operates with a high degree of autonomy within defined processes and serves as a central operational support function for learning and development initiatives. This role reports directly to Global Resource Center leadership at the Mexico office, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the functional leader, Sales Training Program Lead, based in Fort Worth, Texas.
What our Learning & Development Specialist do:
Training Operations & Program Coordination
- Manage and maintain training calendars, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.
- Load and administer training sessions within calendaring or scheduling systems.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics with facilitators, subject matter experts (SMEs), and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate training logistics, confirmations, reminders, and post‑session follow‑ups to participants and managers.
Inbox, Ticket & Request Management
- Own and manage the designated training or academy inbox.
- Respond to training‑related ticket requests and inquiries professionally and within defined service expectations.
- Track inquiries through resolution and escalate issues when needed to ensure timely closure.
Data Management & Reporting
- Collect, compile, and maintain training attendance, participation, and survey feedback data.
- Generate and distribute standard and ad hoc reports on training effectiveness and operational metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by ensuring data accuracy and visibility.
Stakeholder Communication & Support
- Serve as a primary operational contact for participants, managers, facilitators, and cross‑functional partners.
- Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication across a global training audience.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support training operations and special initiatives.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide documentation, materials distribution, and administrative support for training programs.
- Participate in team meetings, operational reviews, and coordination calls as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business priorities.
What we look for:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in learning & development coordination, training operations, program administration, or similar roles preferred.
- Experience supporting global or cross‑functional training programs is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Professional customer service mindset with proactive problem‑solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote and global environment.
- Experience working in a global or cross‑cultural organization.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training platforms.
- Experience with data tracking, reporting, or survey analysis.
