Finance Performance & Operations Leader – Commercial Risk / AGRC NA

AGRC Finance Ops Leader within Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) North America is a pivotal leadership role for the creation and development in the North American Center-of-Excellence (CoE). The Finance Ops Leader will be responsible for carrying out Financial Performance and Quality & Compliance initiatives that align with Commercial Risk’s strategic objectives. The role will be serve as the CoE leader and helix report to the AGRC NA Chief Business Officer.

Financial Performance:

Oversee AGRC NA’s Order to Cash Process

Perform month-end-close activities to time entry, revenue recognition, expense allocation and ad hoc reporting

Develop / improve dashboards to provide key metrics to business leaders with the goal of transparency and accountability on the financials.

Develop / Improve AGRC dashboards and effectively communicate the expense allocation model.

Quality & Compliance:

Liaise with AGRC Ops and Growth teams to ensure engagement and pipeline data is accurate

Audit monthly management reports to identify gaps in compliance or reporting

Support the development and implementation of initiatives identified by leadership related to operational efficiencies, revenue realization, and growth strategies.

Using project management skills to assure goals and objectives are appropriate and aligned with department expectations.

Skills Required:

Understanding financials, P&L characteristics, and business aspects of a consulting practice

Project management experience (budget responsibilities, quality, timeliness, specific metrics, etc.)

Project success demonstrated with case studies, impact to client/operation and clear evidence to executing on strategies

Ability to interpret a variety of data to create management and staff level reports and deliverables.

Capacity to evaluate complex circumstances and adapt in “real time” as situations and other’s opinions evolve.

Capacity to work effectively on multiple tasks at any given time with minimal supervision and with strict deadlines

Ability to communicate with business leaders, executives and other leadership as part of daily operations.

Proficiency in computer applications and data management tools (Microsoft Office applications). Technology strength - Excel expertise and providing support in other technology initiatives as needed.

Demonstration of exceptional writing and presentation skills.

Experience in articulating project scope, value proposition and return on investment for internal business development related tasks.

Demonstrated experience in bringing projects from ideas to fully functioning systems
