Geronimo Coordinator Position
This position is for a candidate who is committed to giving their best to the company. The ideal candidate must be loyal, trustworthy, and focused on keeping all reservations up to date while making every effort to help maintain an excellent Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Program Logistics & Reservations
● Logistics: Arrange and confirm all on-the-ground details, including hotel accommodations, field trips, meals, and transfers.
● Management: Handle all reservations for hotels, transportation, restaurants, staff, andflights.
● Dining Coordination: Send and coordinate Meal Selection Forms (MSF); confirm all final meals with vendors based on these forms.
● Ticketing: Purchase and upload all performance and museum tickets to the internal system.
Budget and Finance
● Payments: Process payments for meals and entrance fees.
● Reconciliation: Maintain records of cancellations, balance accounts with providers, and reconcile all financial invoices and staff expenses.
Participant and Customer Support
● Communication: Partner with the Customer Service team to answer participant questions, manage special requests, and drive enrollments.
● Materials: Collaborate with administration to ensure all participant materials are accurate and delivered on time.
Operations Management
● Itinerary Oversight: Support program itineraries, monitor enrollment numbers vs. space allocations, and manage program changes with professionalism.
● Talent Acquisition: Recruit and contract instructors, local experts, and other specialized talent.
● Recruitment and Onboarding: Maintain a list of new recruits with all contact information.
Staff Support & Training
● Pre-program Video Meetings: Host pre-program video meetings with group leader, assistant group leader, local expert, instructor, and bus driver to connect the team, answer questions, and share information regarding participant special needs, dietary restrictions, or itinerary changes.
● Leadership Prep: Assist in preparing group leaders and on-site staff for departures.
● Training Standards: Train new group leaders, local experts, and instructors on the company’s preferred methods and specific job role execution to ensure brand consistency.
Strategic Infrastructure & Future Projects
● The 6 R’s: Actively reinforce and integrate the 6 R’s into our core infrastructure to ensure operational excellence.
● Compliance & Reporting: Uphold and report any violations of our Zero Tolerance, machismo, bullying, sexism, sexual harassment or gossip standards to ensure a safe and professional working environment.
● Company Restructuring: Co-create and manage staff committees dedicated to the long-term restructuring of Geronimo’s infrastructure.
● Innovation: Develop program ideas that leverage local strengths and contribute ideas toimprove itineraries, meals, and field trip experiences.
● Program Consulting: Serve as a subject matter expert for the development and execution of new programs.
