A Demand & Supply Planner optimizes a company’s supply chain by ensuring product availability to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs. They analyze what the right level of products to be at the right stores at the right time.

Responsibilities

Allocations of orders
Allocations of replenishment goods using replenishment tool or selling data from system.
Purchase & Replenishment: Place strategic purchase orders to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
Advise on pulling up or pushing out order based on inventory levels.
Adhere to replenishment tool and process.
Review sales. Monitor stock-to-sales ratios.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments to support promotions, new product launches, and financial audits.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

Analytical Skills: Strong numerical capability, proficiency in analyzing large datasets, and expertise with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and advanced spreadsheets.
Communication: Able to analyze sales and inventory and communicate best course of action in order to maximize sales and control inventory.
