Purpose
Develop winning fragrances in areas of specialization (Consumer Products).
Core Responsibilities

Develop winning fragrances and fragrance themes, reaching defined key success criteria in area(s) of specialization, by working independently and collaboratively on pro-active and reactive projects

Build and manage a portfolio of winning themes, and continuously adapt them for various bases, price points and norms
-
Develop skills working across a spectrum of creation from Activation (more technical and re- application oriented) to Innovation (more oriented towards creating novelty in a context of library enrichment and/r pro-active development)

Continuously enhance creative and technical skills in area(s) of specialization

Promote the use of Givaudan proprietary materials and specialties in the design process as well through new wins, both in internal and external communication and interactions

Through MAP process, participate in the evaluation of new molecules and ingredients together with perfumery colleagues
-
Continuously enhance market knowledge and consumer understanding in given area(s) of specialization, staying abreast of new market products, consumer tastes and olfactive trends

Support Sales, Development and Marketing efforts by interfacing with customers on projects, presentations, and training sessions; participate in customer visits, building and/or reinforcing relationships with them

Visit at least another of the global creative centres, not visited as a Perfumer

Work effectively across multiple geographies
Academic Background
-
University Degree preferred science/chemistry or other suitable field of study

Verbal and written command of English
Professional Experience
-
Successful and consistent career as a Perfumer, with mastery of all corresponding skills required, or equivalent background

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Perfumer

Demonstrates ability to win projects through a first collection of new wins
