Position: Maintenance & Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Electrical Engineer to join our Reynosa manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high equipment uptime, preventive maintenance execution, electrical system reliability, and continuous improvement of plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
- Maintain production equipment, curing systems, coating lines, winding systems, compressors, chillers, and utility equipment.
- Manage electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor equipment performance and drive improvements to reduce downtime.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and process upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
- Coordinate with production teams to maximize plant efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems and industrial equipment.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and industrial automation preferred.
- Experience in composites, plastics, extrusion, cable, or continuous-process manufacturing is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Spanish required; English proficiency preferred.
