Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of website designers, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Conduct weekly virtual team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and provide support.
- Mentor and guide team members, offering feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
Point of Contact for Account Managers:
- Serve as the main point of contact for Account Managers and Project Managers, ensuring effective communication between design and account teams.
- Coordinate timelines, expectations, and project details between design and account management teams, ensuring alignment and smooth project execution.
Escalation Handling:
- Act as the primary point of contact for design-related escalations and resolve any issues that arise during the design process.
- Ensure that all escalations are addressed promptly and professionally, maintaining client satisfaction.
Quality Assurance & Auditing:
- Perform final quality assurance checks on design projects to ensure they meet company standards and client requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of design work to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to timelines.
Timeline Management:
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring that all design tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Monitor the progress of each team member’s tasks and ensure that any delays are addressed proactively.
- Manage the design team's workload to ensure projects are completed on time and with high quality.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., graphic design, account management) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide design expertise and support as needed, assisting with tasks and overcoming challenges.
Team Development:
- Provide continuous mentoring to help team members grow their skills and advance in their careers.
- Encourage a culture of creativity, innovation, and mutual support within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Website Designer or similar role, with at least 2 years in web design.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to conduct thorough quality checks and audits.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle escalations efficiently.
