We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Sales Manager to lead our logistics sales initiatives and expand our transportation and supply chain solutions in Mexico region. Remote work and report to director of sales in USA.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing the end-to-end sales process within the logistics and freight industry. Your expertise will help optimize transportation management, foster customer loyalty, and drive revenue growth through innovative logistics solutions. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting B2B clients in logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) sectors.
- Identify and generate new leads through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging CRM software to build a robust pipeline of potential customers.
- Manage existing accounts by maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their supply chain needs, and providing tailored transportation management solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service terms with clients and carriers to ensure mutually beneficial arrangements that align with company goals.
- Coordinate transportation planning activities including dispatching, carrier sales, freight management, and compliance with FDA regulations where applicable.
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), AS400 systems, and CRM tools to streamline data entry, dispatching, and order tracking processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams on supply chain management, logistics sales initiatives, and contract negotiations to maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles combined with transportation management expertise.
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the logistics or freight industry with a focus on logistics sales or transportation sales.
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), EDI platforms, CRM software (Customer Relationship Management), and AS400 systems for data entry and dispatching.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs while maintaining profitability.
- Deep understanding of freight operations including carrier sales, freight pricing strategies, dispatching procedures, and transportation planning.
- Ability to build lasting customer relationships through effective account management and inside sales techniques.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations, NVOCC services, FDA regulations related to transportation of regulated goods, and contract management.
