Position Summary
The Life Insurance Appointment Setting Specialist is responsible for generating qualified appointments through outbound outreach to prospective customers interested in life insurance solutions. This role focuses on clearly communicating the purpose of each call, overcoming objections, improving appointment quality, and increasing appointment attendance rates. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong outbound calling experience, excellent objection-handling skills, and a commitment to delivering a professional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers regarding life insurance consultations.
Clearly explain the purpose of the call and create interest in scheduled appointments.
Schedule qualified appointments for licensed insurance professionals.
Follow established scripts, call flows, and outreach processes.
Handle objections professionally and confidently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Support appointment attendance by communicating expectations and next steps clearly.
Assist prospects with joining scheduled virtual appointments when required.
Maintain accurate records of call activity, appointments, outcomes, and follow-up tasks.
Update CRM systems, dialers, and tracking platforms accurately and consistently.
Participate in coaching sessions, performance reviews, and quality assurance initiatives.
Collaborate with leadership to improve appointment quality and attendance rates.
Represent the organization professionally during all customer interactions.
Requirements:
Previous experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, telemarketing, SDR, BDR, or similar phone-based roles.
Experience scheduling appointments and managing customer follow-up activities.
Strong objection-handling and persuasive communication skills.
Advanced English communication skills with clear and professional verbal communication.
Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain productive conversations.
Strong listening and active communication skills.
Ability to follow scripts while maintaining natural and conversational interactions.
Experience using CRM systems, dialers, and call-tracking tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage repetitive outbound calling activities consistently.
