Launch Engineer – Automotive Industry
Location: Queretaro, Qro.
An international automotive company is seeking a Technical Product Manager responsible for ensuring the successful launch of projects and achieving contribution margin targets through productivity improvements, cost reduction, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure successful launch of new projects (SOP) in the plant

Lead engineering changes, continuous improvement, and product/process optimization

Act as the main point of contact with customers (OEM and Tier 1)

Analyze and control costs related to materials, scrap, rework, and logistics
-
Manage KPIs, contribution margins, and budget performance
-
Coordinate cross-functional activities with suppliers, production, quality, and engineering
-
Ensure compliance with automotive standards and customer requirements
-
Support supplier development, industrialization, and process transfers
-
Lead teams and drive operational and financial targets

Requirements
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
-
Advanced English (mandatory)
-
Advanced German (mandatory)
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry

Strong experience in product, process, and project management
-
Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA standards, Core Tools, and Lean Manufacturing
-
Experience working directly with OEMs or Tier 1 customers
