Job Overview
Special Touch Home Care is seeking a highly professional and dependable Remote Office Assistant to support daily operations for our New York–based home care agency.
This is a long-term remote employee position, not a freelance or temporary role. Applicants seeking short-term, seasonal, or contract-only work should not apply.
This is a fast-paced and structured role requiring strong English communication skills, excellent multitasking ability, attention to detail, and the ability to remain responsive and engaged throughout the entire shift.
This is not a passive or low-activity remote position. Candidates must be reliable, tech-savvy, and capable of handling responsibilities independently during scheduled hours. This is not a translation-only role.
Russian and English fluency are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming calls from patients, caregivers, and staff in a professional manner
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English and Russian when needed
- Document calls accurately and in real time
- Coordinate daily communication and relay urgent matters appropriately
- Complete administrative tasks including reporting, scheduling support, ticketing, and data entry
- Maintain responsiveness and professionalism throughout the entire shift
- Follow company procedures carefully and consistently
- Support time-sensitive and emergency-related communications when required
Requirements
Required:
- Advanced English and Russian proficiency (spoken and written)
- Strong verbal communication and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to communicate clearly with U.S.-based callers
- Strong computer literacy and multitasking skills
- Fast learner with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Quiet, distraction-free remote work environment
- Ability to remain active, responsive, and engaged throughout shifts
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and consistency
Preferred (Not Required):
- Previous experience in customer service, call center, healthcare coordination, interpretation, translation, or remote administrative roles
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time (EST)
- 35–46 hours per week
- Full-time permanent position
