Org Marketing Statement
Position Summary
Provide technical advice, product support, and appropriate motion and control solutions to meet the needs of distributors and customers, with a focus on Parker cylinders and valves. The main objective is to generate sales through proper product selection, application support, and technical guidance, building customer trust and positioning Parker as a reliable supplier, which encourages repeat business and supports the achievement of company goals.
Responsible for managing assigned customers from initial technical consultation through full customer satisfaction, ensuring timely attention, regular visits, field support, and a clear understanding of customer needs. This role supports greater market penetration and sales growth across the Central Zone.
Accountable for maintaining and increasing sales volume and margin with existing and new accounts within industrial and distribution channels, with a focus on Parker cylinders, valves, and related motion control components.
Responsibilities
- Achieve budgeted sales targets while increasing market share for the assigned Parker cylinders and valves product lines.
- Develop and execute territory and account growth plans across assigned customers, distributors, OEMs, markets, and sales channels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by locating potential customers, expanding product presence, and promoting Parker motion and control solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, direct accounts, and key customer stakeholders through regular visits, proactive follow-up, and professional support.
- Lead consultative sales efforts by understanding customer needs and challenges, recommending appropriate Parker solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification and customer discovery through product selection, quotation, negotiation, order placement, delivery follow-up, and ongoing account development.
- Provide field technical support.
- Promote new products and integrated solutions.
- Deliver technical training, courses, and webinars to distributors and customers.
- Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, delivery commitments, and customer payment status to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with commercial requirements.
- Support profitable growth by balancing revenue expansion, margin performance, customer value, inventory availability, and long-term strategic fit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, territory management, business development, or key account management.
- Ability to understand technical applications and communicate effectively with engineering and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing account plans, sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM activity.
- Self-directed, results-oriented, and comfortable managing a territory with multiple customer priorities.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to support customer engagement and business development activities.
- Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional, technical, and customer-facing environments.
